Chief Justice Baffour Bonnie Cautions Youth On Responsible Use Of AI

Chief Justice Baffour Bonnie is urging the youth to exercise caution in their use of modern technology, particularly artificial intelligence, as they increasingly rely on digital tools in their daily activities.

He warned that although technology offers enormous benefits, it also poses serious risks, especially in the spread of disinformation and misleading content.

The Chief Justice made the call while inaugurating Justice Club officials in 13 senior high schools across the Western and Central Regions an initiative aimed at promoting legal awareness and responsible citizenship among students.

A total of 65 officers of the Justice Clubs were sworn into office by Chief Justice Baffour Bonnie.

The officers, who are students from 13 selected senior high schools, will lead the newly established clubs in their respective institutions.

While inaugurating the clubs, Justice Baffour Bonnie advised the youth to use modern technology especially AI responsibly to support their learning and personal development.

Judicial Secretary, Mr. Musah Ahmed, underscored the significance of the Justice Clubs, stressing the need to uphold justice in society.
He noted that the clubs will help instill values of fairness and justice in young people.

Seven students at each school were selected for the club.

The Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, who also graced the occasion, lauded the initiative and called for its extension to other schools in the region.
