Infrastructure Crisis Huni Valley SHS Seeks Help From Government And Philanthropists

The Headmaster of Huni Valley Senior High School, Mr. Daniel Aiddo, is making a heartfelt appeal to philanthropists, the government, and key stakeholders to support the school’s development.

Speaking during the school’s 50th Anniversary celebration, themed “50 Years of Excellent Education: The Role of Stakeholders,” he highlighted the institution’s pressing infrastructure challenges despite its rich history.

According to Mr. Aiddo, the school urgently needs a school bus to ease transportation difficulties, desks and computers to enhance teaching and learning, as well as a headmaster’s bungalow and teachers’ bungalow to improve staff welfare.

He stressed that these resources are essential in creating a conducive environment for academic excellence.

Responding to the appeal, the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni Valley, Hon. Wisdom Cudjoe, assured that his office, in collaboration with the district assembly, will work tirelessly to address the school’s challenges.

He encouraged students to stay focused on their studies, emphasizing that education remains the key to unlocking their future potential.

Also speaking at the event, the Divisional Chief of the Bosomtwi Traditional Area, Nana Kwabena Amponsah IV, cautioned students against substance abuse and urged them to prioritize their education.

He advised the students to remain disciplined and committed to their goals to secure a better future.
