Atwima Mponua District Inaugurate A New 19-Member District–GIADEC Committee
The Ghana Integrated Aluminum Development Corporation (GIADEC) visited the Atwima Mponua District inaugurate a new 19-member District–GIADEC Committee, which will serve as the liaison between the District Assembly and GIADEC as the Corporation prepares to commence bauxite exploration activities in the district.
Prior to the inauguration, the outgoing committee having successfully completed its term was formally dissolved at a brief meeting led by Dr. Richmond Antwi-Bediako, Senior Manager (ESG/Health & Safety), and Mr. Isaac Annan Riverson, Esq., Senior Manager (Legal), both of GIADEC.
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated committee, its Chairman, Dr. Babaginda Adams, pledged the team’s unwavering support for the process and assured stakeholders of responsible leadership and constructive engagement in the interest of the district.
