The Nkabomhene and Chief Arbitrator of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Nana Osomfo Nyamekye Dankwah I, has called on chiefs and Ebusuapanyins within Gomoa to embrace peace, unity and reconciliation for the development of their communities.
According to Nana Osomfo Nyamekye Dankwah I, unity among traditional leaders is key to ensuring progress and stability in Gomoa and the traditional area as a whole.
He urged his colleagues to “smoke the peace pipe” and set aside all forms of misunderstandings and conflicts that hinder development.
The Nkabomhene further appealed to Nananom to channel all chieftaincy and family litigations to his office, emphasizing that as the Chief Arbitrator, he is well-positioned to resolve disputes amicably.
He noted that resolving conflicts through traditional means would help save time and money, rather than resorting to prolonged court cases.
Nana Osomfo Nyamekye Dankwah I made these remarks when Angel TV reporter, Nana Kojo Asare, paid a courtesy visit to him.
He stressed that peace among chiefs and family heads would create a conducive environment for development and harmonious coexistence within Gomoa.
