North Dayi Gets New DVLA Centre

An ultramodern Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Ultra-Premium Service Office has been commissioned in North Dayi, making it easier for residents to access transport-related services.
The facility, located centrally in the constituency, allows residents to acquire driver’s licenses, register vehicles, and access other DVLA services without traveling long distances.
Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Joycelyn Tetteh, described the project as a major step toward enhancing public service delivery, saving residents time and money, and promoting road safety compliance.
DVLA CEO Julius Niikwei commended Tetteh for her role in making the centre a reality, noting its advanced technology ensures fast and reliable service, reducing pressure on neighbouring facilities.
District Chief Executive for North Dayi Ernest Adevor hailed the initiative emphasising it’s positive impact in the local economy and livelihoods.
Paramount Chief of Vakpo Traditional Area, Torgbui Gbogbolulu v Described the project as a blessing to the community highlighting it’s role in saving time , reduce travel cost , boosting the local economy, creating jobs and addressing unemployment.
The centre is expected to support local economic growth, create jobs, and improve service accessibility.
