Education Is A Shared Responsibility As Stakeholders Urged To Support Government Otumfour Brempong 

Otumfour Brempong Nana Yim Awere Ababio (Toasehene & Director of Finance of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital) has said Education is imperative or vital and is a shared responsibility as government alone cannot do it and urged stakeholders support.

He reiterated the need of I.C.T. education as globally has become global village which aims at enhancing research ,expansion of knowledge and be abreast with the global trends.

At the Anwiafutu D/A Basic School Opening Day on a theme: Empowering Learners with Technology,One Byte at Time Opening School held he hinted through Oheneba Poku Gyamera (Kyidomhene) as presented modern ten(10) desk top computers with accessories he hinted

Mr Micheal Donkor (Headmaster of Anwiafutu D/A Basic School) in the Atwima Mponua District appreciated the support from the Opinion Leaders that has transformed to academic excellence and performed excellently in BECE of the Computing subject and hence the Open Day to purchase computers to boost ICT education.

Finally Hon Kaakyire Wofa Kwaku Owusu( Assembly Member for Anwiafutu Electoral Area) thanked Nana Yim Awere Ababio(Toasehene)and Class of 1992 Batch who presented Photocopying machine and other items to the Anwiafutu D/A Basic School)as calls for maintenance culture to boost sustainability.
