Gov’t Urged To Prioritise Educational Infrastucture Development Rather Than Enjoying V8

The Otumfour Twafohene, Baffour Opoku Agyyeman has called on politicians to redirect their focus towards addressing the infrastructural deficit in the country’s education system, rather than splending resources on luxury vehicles.

Speaking to the media during a speech and price given day at Executive Senators International School in Kasoa, Baffour expressed dismay at the deplorable state of some schools, with students forced to learn in classrooms with leaking roofs and dilapidated structures.

“We need to prioritize our children’s education,” Baffour emphasized, urging the government to create a conducive environment for private schools to operate, thereby increasing access to quality education for Ghanaian children.

He also appealed to the government to involve private schools in the development and implementation of educational policies.

The event was graced by by the Central East Regional Police Command and Ghanaian popular comic Actor Dr. Likee (Aka Ebenezer).

The P.R.O. for the Central East Regional Police Command, DSP Victor Dosoo advised parents to monitor their children’s social media usage and limit exposure to inappropriate content.
