Amenfi West Lack Of Teacher’s Hindering Progress Of Yepimso M/A Basic School

It is said that infrastructures and teachers are essential for every education institution in Ghana but the story of Yepimso M/A Basic School in the Amenfi West Municipal of the Western Region seems to be different as teachers and students call on government and stakeholders.

According to teachers at YEPIMSO M/A Basic School teacher deficiency is affecting the school and the students.

A teacher identified as OPOKU AGYEMAN, speaking to our reporter, hinted that the YEPIMSO M/A Basic School ranges from Kindergarten (KG) to Basic 6 with only 3 teachers.

He lamented over the muddy structure being used as school of which the KG block is in a death trap threatening the lifes of teachers and pupils.

Meanwhile, it seems as if YEPIMSO M/A Basic School is not enjoying the Government School Feeding Program as students lament of eating Gari to quench their hunger each day during school hours.

They also plead with government and stakeholders for extension of electricity into their school as ceiling fans have been fixed inside the classrooms.
End.
