Sampa Traders Say Business Is Booming On Christmas Season As They Thank John Mahama For The Magic

Traders at Sampa in the Jaman North District are expressing joy as business booms for them at the last market ahead of Christmas.
Some traders describe sales at this year’s last market as a bumper harvest, saying their sales have increased compared to last year.
They attribute the improvement to the appreciation of the cedi, which has contributed to a reduction in the prices of goods compared to the previous year.
Meanwhile, other traders complain about low sales compared to last year.
Some attribute the low patronage to frequent insecurity in the area, while others say the economic hardship means people do not have enough money to buy what they want.
