Agona Swedru Road A Major Concern — Kwame A-Plus Assures Residents Of Road Fixes 

The Member of Parliament for the Gomoa Central Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has assured residents that all deplorable roads within the district will be constructed before the end of his four-year term.

He gave the assurance during the last District Assembly sitting held in the Gomoa Central District.

According to the MP, several major roads in the district have already been awarded to contractors through his efforts.

These include the Winneba–Agona Swedru road, among others, with construction expected to commence very soon.

Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng therefore called on the people of Gomoa Central to continue supporting him, pledging total transformation of the district within his tenure.

Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive for Gomoa Central, Mr. Hackman Kobina Aidoo, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to national development through the implementation of the 24-hour economy policy.

He disclosed that the Gomoa Central District has secured land at Gomoa Afransi for the construction of a 24-hour economy market, aimed at boosting the local economy and creating both direct and indirect employment opportunities for residents.

Mr. Aidoo explained to Onua TV that the proposed market will significantly enhance economic activities in the district and improve livelihoods.
