Clergyman Condemns Action Against Domestic Violence In Ghana

Apostle Dr. Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyoh, founder and leader of Seventh-Day Theocratic World Congregation, has called for stronger national action to curb domestic violence against women, citing its devastating impact on families.

He condemned men who abuse and expel their wives, stating, “You made her bride price to her family, so it’s a crime against God.” Apostle Kadmiel urged couples to prioritize peace and avoid divorce for their children’s sake.

Speaking to Angel news at the United Parenthood Righteousness (UPR) celebration in Achimota, he emphasized that domestic violence is a pressing issue in Ghana, often with fatal consequences for women.

On the side of mothers day and fathers day, Apostle Kadmiel believes that government recognition of a unified “Parents Day” (merging Mother’s and Father’s Day) could help reduce domestic violence and promote family stability.

He argued that this would encourage husbands to love their wives and wives to be submissive, fostering peace at home.

“If the marriage breaks, it affects the children most,” he said, highlighting risks of prostitution and emotional distress for children of broken homes.
