MCE Cautions Youth Against Drug Abuse During Festive Season

The Municipal Chief Executive has advised the youth in the constituency to desist from the use of hard drugs, especially during the ongoing festive season.

According to the MCE, the festive period should be a time of celebration, peace, and personal growth, and not an opportunity to engage in activities that could jeopardize the future of young people.

She emphasized that drug abuse poses serious health, social, and economic risks, and urged the youth to make responsible choices.

Speaking with Angel TV reporter Nana Kojo As are, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom also used the occasion to assure the youth of Agona West of more employment opportunities in the coming year.

She stated that plans are underway to introduce job creation and skills development programmes in 2026 aimed at improving the livelihoods of young people in the constituency.

She therefore called on the youth to remain focused, law-abiding, and committed to building a better future for themselves and the community.

End.
