Six Year Old Boy Drown In Uncovered Water Tank In Kasoa

Six yrs old boy Godfred Aboagye has lost his life after drowning in an uncovered water storage tank in their house at kasoa walantu in the Awutu Senya East Municipality.

According to the report, the deceased attempted to retrieve his ball that fell into the water storage tank and lost his life.

The deceased is a first born of his parent who all live in the same rented house at kasoa Walantu.

The fire service has retrieved the body to police mortuary for investigations.

Angel news in an interview with Nana Kofi Ahomka, Ebusuapani of Gomoa Fetteh who confirmed the incident to Opanyin Darko has said the child could have been saved if the fire service arrived early.

Adding more to his point, Nana Kofi Ahomka has bemoaned over uncovered water storage tanker in the area, with the appeal to the police, assembly members and the environmental health department to take serious action against household with uncovered water storage tank to prevent such kind of incident.
