Salaga South MP Engages East Gonja Municipal Assembly On Development Agenda In Salaga

Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, has met with members of the East Gonja Municipal Assembly in Salaga to discuss key development initiatives and strengthen collaboration aimed at accelerating growth in the constituency.
The meeting provided a platform for constructive dialogue on priority areas such as education, healthcare, road infrastructure, sanitation, and youth empowerment.
Hon. Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah highlighted the importance of effective coordination between the Municipal Assembly, traditional authorities, and community leaders to ensure that development projects meet the real needs of the people.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with the Assembly to promote transparent governance and inclusive development, stressing that teamwork and accountability are essential for sustainable progress.
The MP also encouraged Assembly Members to actively engage their electoral areas and contribute ideas that will support long-term development planning.
Members of the East Gonja Municipal Assembly welcomed the engagement and expressed their appreciation for the MP’s proactive approach.
They pledged their support and outlined ongoing and proposed projects aimed at improving social services and economic opportunities within the municipality.
