Two Teenage Drown In Galamsey Pit At Subreso

A devastating incident has occurred in Subreso, Western North Region, where two teenagers, Enoch and Junior, aged 18-19, drowned to death after falling into a galamsay pit.

The tragic event has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents in fear and panic.

According to eyewitness Collins, the incident happened when one of their friends attempted to rescue them but also fell into the pit, making it three people trapped. Sadly, two of them have been pronounced dead at Bibiani Hospital.

The community is in mourning, with residents describing the loss as “really serious.”
