Adukrom Chief Charges Okere District Assembly To Help Relocate Traders To Newly Built Adukrom Market

The Nifa Hene of Okuapeman Traditional Council and Chief of Adukrom in the Okere district of the Eastern Region, Osuodumgya Otutu Ababio V, has charged the Okere District Assembly to relocate all traders to the Adukrom market, which was constructed by a diasporan.

Speaking at the commissioning of a newly built ultra-modern toilet facility for Adukrom market by Mrs. ASI Quaye and family from the USA, he expressed worry over the neglect of the newly built market center by some traders in Adukrom.

According to him, most traders are still trading in their various homes and streets instead of the market center, which he believes will prevent philanthropists and donors from helping develop the community.

He therefore appealed to the District Chief Executive for Okere District, Eric William Ayettey, to help solve the challenge as a matter of urgency and relocate all traders to the Market Center to save the name of Adukrom.

The District Chief Executive for Okere District Eric William Ayettey in an interview, disclosed the measures put in place to help solve the challenge raised by the Nifa Hene of Okuapeman Traditional Council and Chief of Adukrom, Osuodumgya Otutu Ababio V.
