Solomon Kwame Asumadu, Akwatia By-Election Npp Parliamentry Candidate

The NPP’s defeated Akwatia Constituency by-election candidate, Kwame Asumadu, is urging peace and unity ahead of the party’s January 31 presidential primaries.

Addressing the media after the party’s walk to rally support in the Akwatia constituency in the Eastern Region he called on Ghanaians and NPP members to shun violence and division, emphasizing that leadership comes from God and should be rooted in unity.

Kwame Asumadu, the defeated NPP parliamentary candidate for Akwatia constituency by-Election, is calling for peace and unity ahead of the party’s January 31 presidential primaries.

Speaking to party members in Akwatia, Eastern Region, after a walk to rally support, Asumadu urged Ghanaians and NPP members to embrace peace before, during, and after the elections.

He cautioned against violence, bitterness, and division, emphasizing that “leadership comes from God and must be anchored in unity, not chaos”.

Asumadu’s appeal comes as the NPP prepares for its primaries, and he stressed the importance of maintaining peace and unity within the party.

His message was clear: the party’s strength lies in its ability to come together and work towards a common goal.

Some NPP members from Akwatia who joined the walk said the exercise was meant to energize the grassroots and promote unity within the party, they also call for peace aims to heal divisions after the party’s September by-election defeat
