Residents Of Gomoa Nkwantan Appeals To Government To Provide Toilet Facilites To End Open Defecation
Opened defecation has hit Gomoa Nkwantanan in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region as residents urged for the construction of public toilet facility, because they ease themselves in a black polythene and throw is anywhere in the community.
Due to this, it has affected the residents in terms of sickness and always visiting the hospital.
Some residents speaking in an interview with Angel news eluded that they had nowhere to go to toilet, so they managed themselves till night time find a black polythene and then do it inside and throw it away.
The residents bemoaned that they feel neglected in terms of development because they government has failed to help them.
Moreover, the Odikro of Gomoa Nkwantanan, Nana Obrikafo Kweku Gyebu lll, says several appeals have been made to authorities, but nothing has been done about it.
The Traditional Ruler has, therefore, called on the DCE, MP in the area as well as the Government as a whole to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.
