Assin Fosu Municipal Health Director Condemns Attack On Patient At Akoti Health Centre

The Assin Fosu Municipal Health Director, Mr. Benjamin Amoakoh, has strongly condemned the mob attack on a patient who was receiving treatment at the Assin Akoti Health Centre in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region.

According to Mr. Amoakoh, the violent incident has left health personnel at the facility traumatised and deeply disturbed.

He noted, however, that management has since collaborated with the Divisional Police Command to enhance security at the health centre to ensure the safety of both staff and patients.

Meanwhile, the Central Regional Police Commander has assured the public that the police are actively pursuing the perpetrators and will ensure that all those involved are brought to justice.
