Healthcare Is Not Left Out As Mce Hands Over Street Light To Brighten The Two Hospitals In Nkwanta South

The Nkwanta South municipal assembly led by the municipal chief executive (MCE,) Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi has donated several street bulbs(street light) to the two main hospitals within the nkwanta township namely nkwanta South municipal hospital and st Joseph Catholic hospital to help improve the lightening challenge in the two health facilities.

According to him the assembly did a visibility study in both hospitals and they realize that lighten situation in the two facilities at night is a big change which is not safe for the health workers posing threat to them especially at night that’s why they took that step.

He MCE added that as part of the resetting Ghana agenda promised Ghanaians by his Excellency John mahama the health sector is not left behind that’s why the assembly led by himself want to make sure the people of nkwanta South receive proper healthcare delivery and also the health workers can go to work at night without fear of darkness

The administrator for st Joseph Catholic hospital sister Anastatia Okyere on behalf of the hospital staff and workers thanked the MCE for his kind gesture she said this street light will help them so much because they do face a lot of issues because of serious darkness so this will help them a lot they are grateful but they look forward to receive more support.

On his part the medical supretendent at the nkwanta South municipal hospital Dr.Asad Boakye on behalf of the municipal health director thanked the MCE because it was their headache since the facility is very big but lightening was their major challenge anytime they have cases at night but now this will help solve everything they are grateful for the gursture
