Dzodze Residents Get Update On Town Road Dualization

Residents of Ketu North District gathered at Pentecost Church, Dzodze, for a town hall meeting ahead of the dualization of the Dzodze stretch of the Big Push Road Project.

Key stakeholders, including Regional Minister James Gunu, MP Eric Edem Agbana, and MCE Rev. Martin Amenaki, addressed concerns on project implementation and property compensation.

Acting Volta Regional Highway Director Faustina Oppong-Yeboah explained that affected properties will be assessed and compensated before removal.

The Regional Minister reaffirmed government’s commitment to fair treatment and project completion, per the President’s directive.

A 12-member committee was inaugurated to support communication and coordination. The meeting ended with an interactive Q&A session.

The Ho-Dzodze-Aflao road is a key trade route, part of the Big Push programme boosting economic activity.
