Obosomase Anglican Basic School Appeals For ICT Lab, Teachers Bungalow As It Receives 200 Dual Desks

The Anglican Basic School at Obosomase in the Agona East District of the central region has received support of 200 dual desks from Fantse Association of Columbus, Ohio U. S. A to enhance quality education.

On behalf of the school, the Headmaster of Obosomase Anglican Basic School, Iddriss Siraj has appealed for ICT, Information and Communication Technology Laboratory and teachers bungalows to improve academics of the students after receiving the 200 dual desks from Fantse Association.

The Headmaster speaking at the donation of 200 desk from Fantse Association of Columbus, Ohio U. S. A the Headmaster had thanked the Association for their support to the school, highlighting ongoing infrastructure needs like computers and teachers accomodations which is facing the school.

Meanwhile, the President for Fantse Association of Columbus, Ohio U.S.A Kwesi Sackey has urged for good maintenance of the items to serve it purpose.

He has also assured the school of getting computers very soon to address the challenges facing in the teaching and learning of ICT.

In conclusion, the Odikro of Agona Kwayanko, Nana Dr. Ampim Darko has pledged launched educational fund to support brilliant but needy students to continue their education to university to help address social vices in the Agona enclaves.
