Support President Mahama’s Appointees For The Success Of NDC And Ghana – Asiedu Nketia Urges Party Faithfuls

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has urged party members who were not successful in securing political appointments following the 2024 NDC election victory, to actively support the President’s reset agenda.

He encourages them to offer their support to their successful competitors who have been appointed to serve the country, for the benefit of both the party and the nation as a whole.

During his “Thank You Tour” in the Bono Region, at the Berekum East Constituency, he emphasized that the NDC can only govern Ghana beyond their four-year mandate if the current leadership succeeds.

He stated that their success largely depends on the valuable ideas contributed by all party members, regardless of whether they hold an appointment, to advance the reset agenda.

Therefore, he stressed the importance of setting aside any pettiness and uniting for the progress of both the country and the NDC as a political party.

Hon. Simon Ampabeng Kyeremeh, Member of Parliament for the Berekum East Constituency, expressed his gratitude to the constituents of Berekum East for electing him as their representative in the 2024 elections.

He emphasized his commitment to working for the benefit of Berekum East and to being accountable to the people.

Additionally, he expressed his appreciation to the National Chairman of the NDC for the tremendous support, which has contributed to his exceptional performance as a first-time Member of Parliament stressing that this support has led to the array of developmental projects that Berekum East is experiencing under his one-year tenure.

Hon. Hajia Fati Abubakah, Municipal Chief Executive of Berekum East, revealed a series of developmental initiatives encompassing education, health, road infrastructure, water, and electricity supply, among others, that have been implemented in the municipality.

These developments signify a welcome relief for the residents, who have long been yearning for progress.

She expressed her commendation for the National Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, acknowledging his support and efforts, which are producing positive outcomes for Berekum East.

She emphasized that Mr. Asiedu Nketia is indeed regarded as the second Member of Parliament for Berekum East as a result of his influence in facilitating development in the Constituency.
