A 30-year-old man, identified as Kwabine Kwakwa, has allegedly butchered his in-law at Agona Bobikuma in the Agona West Municipal Assembly of the Central
Region.

According to information gathered, the incident occurred following a misunderstanding believed to be linked to a marital dispute between the suspect and his wife, which reportedly led to a breakup.

The victim, a relative of the suspect’s wife, sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving medical attention.

He is said to be in critical condition.

Police have since launched investigations into the incident, and the suspect is expected to be arrested and taken through the due process of the law.

The incident has left residents of Agona Bobikuma in shock, with many calling for calm as security agencies work to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the attack.
