NPP Intellectuals Declare Full Support For Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s 2028 Presidential Bid
Patriotic intellectuals of Ghana, the National Association of TESCON Patrons for Bawumia 2028, TESCON members, and professional groups within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have officially declared their full support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid to become the party’s flagbearer ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The endorsement was made in a press conference by the chairman of Patriotic intellectuals Chairman Sesah, ahead of the NPP’s internal presidential primaries scheduled for 31st January 2026, with the group describing Dr. Bawumia as the most competent, credible, and unifying candidate capable of leading the party to victory and serving Ghana as President.
According to the group, after carefully assessing all candidates contesting the flagbearership, Dr. Bawumia clearly stands out based on his experience, integrity, and track record in governance.
They acknowledged the efforts and commitment of all aspirants but maintained that Dr. Bawumia remains the most prepared to lead the party into the future.
Chairman Sesah futher urge all npp members to vote peacefully that after electing Dr. Bawumia, he will need all the other candidate to work and win power coming 2028 general election.
