Electricity Pole Causes Fear And Panic In Agona Abodom

Residents of Agona Abodom have been thrown into a state of fear and panic following the dangerous condition of an electricity pole in the community.

According to residents, the affected pole is leaning precariously and poses a serious threat to lives and property, especially during rainfall or strong winds.

They say the situation has become more alarming due to the presence of exposed electrical wires in the area.

Community members have expressed concern that the pole could collapse at any moment, potentially leading to injuries, loss of life, or power outages.

Parents, in particular, fear for the safety of children who pass by the area daily on their way to school.

Residents are therefore calling on the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Agona West Municipal Assembly to urgently intervene and fix the problem to avert any possible disaster.

They warn that failure to act promptly could result in tragic consequences for the community.
