A Level 400 student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ransford Asomani Amankwaa, has met his untimely death under circumstances that are currently under investigation.

According to his father, Mr. Enoch Budu Amankwaa, he received a distressing call from school authorities in the early hours of this morning informing him that his son had allegedly fallen from his hostel and died.

However, the bereaved father has expressed suspicion over the circumstances surrounding his son’s death, stating that he believes his son may have been murdered.

He has therefore called for a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident.

The matter has since been reported to the police, and investigations are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death.
