Schools In Agona East District Received Desks Support From MP Queenstar Pokuwaa.

More than 100 basic schools in the Agona East District have received dual desks following a major educational support initiative by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Queenstar Pokuwaa.

The donation forms part of her intervention project aimed at distributing two thousand desks to schools across the district to improve teaching and learning conditions.

Speaking to Angel TV reporter Nana Kojo Asare, the MP stressed that education remains a top priority and pledged her continuous commitment to ensuring a conducive environment for students and teachers.

The District Director of Education, Mrs. Philis Asante Krobea, who received the desks on behalf of the beneficiary schools, expressed gratitude to the MP for the gesture.

She also advised teachers in the district to be punctual and take proper care of the furniture to ensure long-term use.

The support is expected to help reduce the furniture deficit and enhance academic work in schools across the district.
