Heafmaster Of Kofi Owusu Basic School Calls For Computers,Renovation Of Old Building After Completion Of Kg Block.

The headmaster of Kofi Owusu Basic School in the Kwahu South municipality of the Eastern region, Boye Stephen is appealing for computers and the renovation of an old classroom block to improve teaching and learning, following the completion of a new Kindergarten block for the school.

The appeal was made during a short ceremony to officially hand over the newly completed KG block to the kofi Owusu basic school authorities.

The Headmaster Boye Stephen expressed gratitude to stakeholders for the new facility, describing it as a major boost to early childhood education in the school.

However, he noted that several challenges still hinder effective teaching and learning.

According to him, the school lacks computers to enhance ICT studies, making it difficult for pupils to gain practical knowledge in information technology.

“We are grateful for the new KG block, but we still need support, especially with computers, for our ICT lessons and renovation of our old classroom building, which is in a poor state.”

The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu South David Effah Osei Bonsu charged the school authorities to take good care of the facility and promised to add tables and chairs to help improve teaching and learning in the area.

End.
