Tricycle (Pragia) Rider And Pop Specialist Jail 14 Years For Defiling 15 Year Old Girl.
Bibiani Circuit Court presided over by His Honor Frank Asiedu Nimako has sentenced two persons, 1st accused, Theophilus Ankrah , 18 yrs, and a tricycle rider, and 2nd accused, Kwaku Nkrumah who is also known as Prince, 20 years, Plaster of Paris (POP) specialist into 7 years each imprisonment in hard labour for defiling 15 year old JHS 1 student.
Presenting the brief fact of the case before the Bibiani Circuit Court presided over by His Honor Frank Asiedu Nimako, Detective Chief Inspector Benjamin Agyemang indicated that Complaint Dorothy Biri age 40, a trader and Mother of the victim who resides at Bibiani Hwenampori reported to the DOVSU Unit of the Ghana Police, Bibiani Command that on the 8th February, 2026 about 6:30pm , victim left home to unknown destination and returned home about 10pm.
The complaint rained abusive words on victim and asked her to return to where she was coming from. Victim went roaming and met the accused persons, Theophilus Ankrah, 18 years, Tricycle rider, and Kwaku Nkrumah a.k.a Prince ,20 years and Plaster of Paris ( POP) specialist at Bibiani Hwenampori Voda House junction. 1st accused, Theophilus Ankrah stopped the victim while in the Tricycle ( Pragyea) and asked the victim why she was crying and she narrated to them her ordeal.
A1&A2 then took undue advantage of the victim’s situation and took her to their house and kept her from Sunday evening till Wednesday evening.
The following morning at about 8am, A1 Theophilus Ankrah had sexual intercourse with the victim and later about 11am , A2 Kwaku Nkrumah ( the Tricycle rider) formerly proposed to the victim and also had sex with her .
The accused persons had several sexual intercourse with the victim until the fourth day where they accompanied her to her house.
The DOVSU Unit headed by ASP Evelyn Yitamkey interrogated the victim and she narrated all what transpired in the accused’s room.
The Police Medical report confirmed same .
The police then effected arrest and arranged them before the Bibiani Circuit Court upon investigations.
ASP Evelyn Yitamkey, head of the DOVSU Unit of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Division shared what the victim disclosed to them with Angel TV News when they scrutinized her .
ASP Evelyn Yitamkey further admonished parents and guardians to befriend their daughters than raining abusive words and comments that demoralises them when they are at fault.
She again sounded a word of caution to the Youth (boys) to be mindful about their deeds especially the way they relate with their female counterparts who are under age in sexual matters, because the law will not spare them if they are caught in rape and defilement related cases.
