New Presiding Member Pledges To Drive Development In Afigya Kwabre South.
The newly elected Presiding Member of Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Jersey Danso, is promising to work closely with the Member of Parliament and the District Chief Executive Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah, to bring development to the area.
Mr. Danso, who secured 34 votes against his opponent’s 2, with 1 rejected vote, identified poor roads as a major challenge facing the district.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Danso emphasized that development is his top priority, saying, “Development is my major priority and that’s what I’m up to.”
He assured residents that he will collaborate with the MP and DCE to address pressing issues and improve the lives of people in Afigya Kwabre South.
The Presiding Member’s vision for the district includes tackling infrastructure challenges and enhancing overall development .
