Kasoa Mp, MCE Present Medical Equipment To Mother And Child Hospital Commission Maternity Ward At Opeikuma.

The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Hon. Phillis Naa Koryo Okunor, together with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Seth Sabah Serwornoo Banini, has presented essential medical equipment to the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa to enhance quality healthcare delivery.

The two officials also commissioned an ultra-modern maternity ward at the Opeikuma CHPS Compound to address the lack of maternity services in the area.

Angel news In an interview, Hon. Phillis Naa Koryo Okunor stated that the initiative is aimed at reducing the maternal and infant mortality rate within the constituency.

She pledged her continued support to improve healthcare delivery and ensure residents have access to quality medical services.

Meanwhile, the MCE, Hon. Seth Sabah Serwornoo Banini, noted that the medical equipment will help address the challenge of inadequate logistics in health facilities across Kasoa.

He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting the health sector to improve service delivery.
