Trade Minister Commissions Mechanized Borehole For Takyikurom Residents.

The Member of Parliament for Techiman North and Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, in the company of the Techiman North District Chief Executive, Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, has commissioned a mechanized borehole for residents of Takyikrom, a suburb of the Techiman North District in the Bono East Region.

The project is aimed at providing clean and safe drinking water for the people of Takyikrom and its surrounding communities, who for years have struggled with access to potable water.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare said access to clean water remains a critical component of improving public health and enhancing livelihoods.

She noted that the mechanized borehole forms part of her broader commitment to addressing the pressing needs of her constituents, particularly in deprived communities.

She urged residents of Takyikrom and its surrounding communities to practice the culture of maintenance to ensure the longevity of the borehole.
