No More Favoritism, The Indiscipline Is Getting Worse- Okere Environmental Officer Warn Residents.

The Okere District Environmental Officer, Joe Gyato, has said the indiscipline among some residents in the district on sanitation has become worse, therefore, there will be no favoritism when offenders are dealt with.

Speaking at the national sanitation day program at Dawu, he noted that, the environmental department has done numerous education and training for the residents on sanitation but all proved futile.

According to him, some residents continue to litter around and not adhere to sanitation rules, posing a health threat.

He added that anyone violating sanitation laws won’t be spared, facing the full force of the law, with a new court commissioned in Adukrom.

The District Chief Executive for Okere, Eric Williams Ayettey stressed the indiscipline among residents despite education, pleading with them to adhere to laws for a cleaner environment, else face sanctions.
