A 28-Year-Old Man Killed In Bohyen Accident.

A tragic accident at Bohyen in the Ashanti Region has claimed the life of a 28-year-old Nails cutter.

The incident occurred when a heavy truck’s brakes failed while climbing the road from Sofoline to Bohyen station, and it ran over the victim who was cutting someone’s nails at the time.

The truck also destroyed nearby containers, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Eyewitness Daniel Belo recounted the incident, stating that the truck was heading towards them when the brakes failed, and unfortunately, the victim was in the direct path of the vehicle.

“He was cutting a nail of someone who had come to collect his phone at the area when the accident occurred,” Daniel explained.

The victim’s untimely death has sent shockwaves through the community, with many expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.

The police and fire service visited the scene, and the body was taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) morgue for autopsy.

The incident has raised concerns about road safety and vehicle maintenance in the region, with many calling for measures to be put in place to prevent similar accidents in the future.
