Chief’s Escort Allegedly Shoots Pregnant Woman And Another At Besease.

A tragic incident occurred at Hiawu Besease in the Atwima Nwahiagya South of the Ashanti Region, where two young ladies, Serwaa Alice, 19, and Maa Adwoa 13 years who sustained severe injuries.

According to the residents, incident happened when the Chief of Besease, Nana Aboagye Asare III, was on his way to bury his mother and his bodyguard fired a gun, hitting the pregnant lady and the other in the eye.

According to Abigail, sister of the pregnant lady and victim, the incident was devastating.

“The bodyguard was firing gun and it hit my sister in her abdomen and the other lady,” she narrated.

The Committee Chairman of the area, Mr. Emmanuel Asante, disclosed that the two ladies were rushed to the hospital, with the pregnant lady at KATH emergency unit and the other receiving treatment at Nkawie government hospital.

The incident has sparked concern and outrage in the community, with many calling for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The condition of the two ladies is currently unknown, but the community is rallying behind them, hoping for their swift recovery.
