Man, 23, Killed After Accident Involving ‘Aboboyaa’ Carrying Wood At Okyerekrom.

A 23-year-old man has died following a fatal accident involving an aboboyaa loaded with wood at Okyerekrom in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.

The deceased, identified as Kingsley Kwaku Atta, was riding as a pillion passenger when the tricycle, carrying about 20 timber logs, crashed while traveling from Bayerebon Number 5 to Antwi Adjei Nkwanta.

Alexander Akwasi Yeboah, the area’s Assemblyman, told Angel Tv News  reporter  Bismark  Mensah, that a group of young men had loaded the tricycle with timber and were heading toward Antwi Adjei Nkwanta when the rider lost control upon reaching a rough stretch of the road, causing the accident.

He added that the rider and another injured person were rushed to Nyinahin Government Hospital, where they are receiving treatment.
