CHRAJ Begins Steps To Pursue Justice For Victims Of Ada Songor Electrochem Brutality.

The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) has begun steps to pursue justice for victims who were subjected to various human rights violations by thugs and security personnel in the Ada Songor enclave on October 21, 2021.
The victims, including Chiefs, were allegedly subjected to human rights abuses, including police brutality, torture, and unlawful detention, resulting in the killing of one person whose mortal remain is still being kept at a morgue after attempting to protest against the takeover of their only livelihood, the Songor Salt Mining by Electrochem Ghana Ltd.
The delegation led by Mr. Clement Kadogbe, Head of Business at CHRAJ, addressed the media after the successful engagement with the victims, urging them to have trust in the commission to pursue justice for them.
He also called on the victims to exercise restraint and patience as the commission takes the necessary steps to seek justice for them.
Meanwhile, some of the victims who spoke with Angel News after the engagement expressed gratitude to CHRAJ for its intention to ensure justice is served.
