Installation Of 240 Solar Street Lights Boosts Preparations For Kwahu Easter.

The Kwahu South Municipal Assembly has announced the installation of 240 solar-powered street lights across the area to enhance security and visibility ahead of this year’s Kwahu Easter celebrations

According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Effah Osei Bonsu, the initiative forms part of measures to ensure a safe and vibrant environment for residents and visitors during the festive period.

He disclosed that out 150 additional street lights would be added to the solar to be fix in advantage points to help boost the celebration particularly in key towns and major roads expected to experience high human and vehicular traffic.

The MCE emphasized that the move will significantly improve nighttime activities, reduce crime, and support businesses that operate during the Easter festivities.

He further assured the public of the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with security agencies and other stakeholders to ensure a peaceful and successful celebration.
