Heavy Downpour Floods Homes, Collapses Storey Building In Weija Gbawe.

A heavy downpour Sunday dawn has caused severe flooding in parts of the Weija Gbawe Municipality, leaving several homes submerged and displacing residents.

The flooding affected a number of households, including the residence of the Assembly Member of new Weija east electoral area Hon .Sadiatu Issah.

In a related development, a storey building collapsed at Choicewithinthe same area, raising concerns about structural safety and the extent of damage caused by the rains.

Fortunately, no casualties have been confirmed at the time of this report, although properties have been destroyed.
