MASLOC Engage Market Women Within Sekondi / Takoradi.

During their tour they visited 3 Market Centers namely Takoradi New Market, Apremdo Central Market and Sekondi Market. The engagement was on Wednesday 1st April 2026 led by Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of Masloc Mrs Abigail Elom Mensah and her Entourage, Regional Director Masloc Mrs Charlotte Adevor Afare and Party Executives of NDC.

In an interview with the media Mrs Abigail Elom Mensah CEO said due to their Bad Records on their loans teams when she was appointed, she said it appropriate they Come to the region to Educate the Market Women on how they can Comply with Masloc when they request their loans for their Businesses.

Additionally She said The Market Women are their partners, it a 3days tour namely Western, Central, Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta and Oti, this engagement is to reduce burden on Parents.

Director of Masloc Mrs Charlotte Adevor Afare said this year marks their 20years, Masloc is a Company they give out Loans to Small scale entrepreneurs and they have Group Loans and individual loans, so the necessary requirement in a group loan are 2 Passport Pictures and Ghana Card but if you are an individual person the requirement is guaranter, group members each person is to receive Ghc5000 with 1 percent interest, also she is very excited this tour started in the region, hopefully soon the money will come and Western Region will receive their’s First.

Market Women Express their joy on this initiative, they said it will help strengthen their business and also they will pay for it because it is good to keep a good record.
