Ghana Army Forces’ W.O II Mrs. Dorcas Ameyaw Advises Parents To Let Children Choose Their Career PATHS.

W.O II Mrs. Dorcas Ameyaw of the Ghana Army Forces emphasized the importance of allowing children to choose their own paths in life. Speaking at a school career day at VicSam Eagles Home Academy at Akrama in the Ga West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region, she urged parents to refrain from imposing their aspirations on their children and instead to provide guidance as they explore their interests and talents.

The career day event brought together various professionals from different fields, offering students a glimpse into potential future careers.

Mrs. Ameyaw’s message resonated with many in attendance, as she encouraged open dialogue between parents and children about their dreams and goals.

W.O II Mrs. Ameyaw, a prominent figure in the Ghana Army, highlighted the significance of fostering an environment where children feel empowered to pursue their passions.

She said, as parents, our role is to support and guide our children, not to dictate their future, every child has unique gifts and interests, and it’s crucial that we allow them the freedom to discover what they truly want to do.

Miss Patience Amoah, Headmistress of the school, also called on parents to collaborate with teachers and support their children’s academic endeavors.

Speaking at a school career day event, she emphasized the need for parents to assist with the children and to ensure that the children taken good care off and to meet their needs.

She added that some parents only focus on their business, go out early and returned home late without getting time for their children.

She also encouraged parents to allow children to pursue their chosen careers, fostering their individual potential
