Traders at Manso Adubia in the Ashanti Region are making a passionate appeal to the government and the Roads and Highways Authority to come to their aid and fix speed ramps on their road, particularly in front of their bustling market.
The plea comes amid growing concerns for safety, as motor riders allegedly speed recklessly, putting lives at risk, especially on market days.
According to the traders, the situation is dire, with motor riders riding “anyhow” without regard for human life.
They lamented that students who use the road are equally at risk, as some riders zoom past with alarming speed.
“When accident occurred, it will be bloody,” one trader warned, voicing the collective fear of the community.
The traders are urging authorities to treat their appeal with urgency, emphasizing that the installation of speed ramps would be a significant step in preventing a potential tragedy.
They assured that such a measure would not only save lives but also bring much-needed relief to the community.
