Farming Community Of Asuabena In Ashanti Region Left To Suffer In Silence.

Residents of Asuabena, a farming community in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region, are calling for urgent attention to their plight.

The community is grappling with a severe lack of social amenities, including good roads, schools, quality water, and toilet facilities.

The situation has forced children to travel long distances to access education, with some having to go to Abrochere, Koforidua, or Samproso for schooling.

The poor road network is also affecting farmers’ ability to transport their produce to market, resulting in significant losses.

One resident lamented, “The road is almost impassable, and it’s really affecting our livelihoods.

We need help to get our produce to market and to access basic services like healthcare and education.”

The community is also without a quality toilet facility, posing serious health risks to residents.

The lack of amenities is hindering the community’s development and affecting the quality of life for its residents.

The people of Asuabena are appealing to the government, NGOs, and philanthropists to intervene and provide them with the necessary support to improve their living conditions.
