Armed Men Picked Agona West NPP Organizer Over ‘Dumsor Is Back’ facebook Post.

Tension is mounting at the NPP party camp in the Central Region following the alleged arrest of the Agona West Constituency Organizer by armed men this evening.

According to the party report that a group of men, armed with pistols and AK-47 rifles in Rambo-style gear, stormed the organizer’s residence in Agona Swedru approximately 30 minutes ago.

They forcibly took him away, with unconfirmed reports suggesting they are heading to Accra.

Confirmation came directly from NPP Central Regional Organizer, Mr. Anthony Sackey revealed the arrest stems from a recent facebook post by the organizer declaring, “Dumsor is Back,” which appears to have provoked the swift party response.

Mr. Anthony Sackey added that NPP members are now mobilizing and organizing themselves to travel to Accra this evening in response to the incident.
