Police Station Goes Waste As Police Personnel Reject It.
Asempanaye Police Station in the Offinso North District of the Ashanti Region has been abandoned to be taken over by bush, reptiles, games.
A check by Atinka News Reporter, Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, indicates that, the project was built and commissioned on Friday, 6th November 2020 by former president Akufo-Addo together with Offinso North former Member of parliament, Augustine Collins Ntim.
According to the DCE for the area, Hon. Ceasar Ofosu Acheampong, he came and met the project abandoned.
But he continued saying that, his enquiries over the project and why the police service rejected it was that, the police service complained that, the previous administration built the project without the notice.
“The police Commander told me that, the rejected the project because he was not informed as the police must have done all the security checks on the project as per their laws demand”.
