Asokwa MP Charges New Polling Station Executives To Mobilize For NPP Victory In 2028.

The Member of Parliament for Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Patricia Appiah Agyei, has charged newly elected polling station executives to intensify grassroots mobilization and market the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony of the new executives, Hon. Appiah Agyei described the role of a polling station executive as one of the most demanding in the party.
She urged them to develop strong communication skills and actively engage Ghanaians to secure support for the NPP.
She called on the executives to campaign for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s candidate for the 2028 presidency, citing the NPP’s record in government as a key reason to seek a return to power.
“The NPP has a good legacy which we can boast of,” she said. “Go out and speak more about the party, sell it to ordinary Ghanaians so that in 2028 they will vote massively for the NPP to come into power.”
Hon. Appiah Agyei also criticized the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that the party had disappointed Ghanaians and had no achievements to campaign on.
The Asokwa Constituency Regional Representative, Mr Eric Kyei Baffour emphasized the weight of responsibility on polling station executives.
“It is not about knowing how communicate. It is a devoted job,” he said.
He urged the executives to work with commitment and unity to bring the NPP back into power.
Mr. Baffour acknowledged existing misunderstandings within the Asokwa constituency but assured that the party is taking steps to resolve them and strengthen unity ahead of 2028.
