MTTD Educates Suame Magazine Artisans On New Trafitech System.

The Ashanti Regional Deputy MTTD Commander, Andrew Adom Okyere, has engaged and educated artisans at Suame Magazine in Kumasi on the introduction of the Trafitech system in Ghana.

The engagement, which brought together drivers, mechanics and other transport stakeholders, was aimed at sensitizing them on how the new Trafitech system works to improve road safety and traffic law enforcement.

Speaking in an interview with our news reporter, Sofoba Kwame Afrifah, the Deputy MTTD Commander explained the importance of the system and cautioned drivers at large against overspeeding, which he said continues to lead to accidents and loss of lives on our roads.

The MTTD says similar sensitization exercises will be extended to other driver unions across the region.

On his part, the Chairman for the Suame Garages Association, Lukeman Mohammed, expressed gratitude to the MTTD for the education.

He therefore urged his members to abide by the rules and regulations of the Trafitech system to ensure safety and to avoid falling foul of the law.
