Two Military Officers, Two Civilians Arrested For Rubbery At A Mining Site

Prestea police of the Ghana Police Service in the Western Central Police command has arrested four (4) armed robbers which two of them are military offices and two of them are civilians for attempted to robb a mining company the name of the company is LongShine mining company limited located in Obouhu suburb of Prestea.

Information shows that they were six (6) in numbers two (2) military offices and four (4) civilians two of the civilians escape arrests living two military officers and two civilians. the Prestea police command received information from the security guards and the management of the company concerning the robbery incident at their site on Sunday 28th September 2025 around 10:30pm to 11:00pm thereabout two of the civilians are now at large.

The remaining four robbers have been sent from Prestea police command to Tarkwa Divisional police command.

These criminals rented a brand new Toyota pickup with registration number GN6116-25 for this operation, the said pickup has been also confiscated by the Police

Bright Agyemfra spoke to some of the Security guards they said these robbers came in beat them up and asked them to lead them to their gold room.
