Bono East Regional Minister Has called On Bono East Regional House Of Chiefs To Resolve The Growing Number Of Chieftaincy Disputes

At the Prang Traditional Council launching of their festival,and the 60th birthday anniversary of Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III,the paramount of Prang Traditional Area.
Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III lamented a lot of identification Challenges which is messing up the development of the region , poor roads, Armed Robbery, Chieftaincy and Fulani/Farmers disputes as major problems.
Bono East Regional Minister,Hon Francis Owusu Antwi expressed deep concern about the rising of chieftaincy issues in the region.
The minister emphasized that, development thrives in an atmosphere of peace, and where conflicts arise,it impedes the development potential of the region.
Bono East Regional Minister urged the traditional leaders of the region to resolve the chieftaincy issues through the judicial committees of the traditional councils and utilize the processes outlined Act, rather than relying on the courts, which he said are costly and time-consuming.
He finally admitted that,fixing road network challenges,it curb armed robberies, and assured the people of Atebubu Amantin municipality, Pru West and East,Sene West and East to fix their roads especially the potholes for the rebbery to be curb.
The Minister expressed deep concern about the rising of the chieftaincy issues in the region.
According to the MP, Hon Dr Emmanuel Kofi Ntekunu and the DCE,Hon Samuel Agyapong of the area(Pru West District), peace and unity is the most weapon to build a country and the community and also worried about the challenges in their District and the region as a whole, particularly about the numerous chieftaincy disputes in some traditional areas in the region.
